The Skate Park Of Tampa Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last decade, there’s probably a good chance you’ve at least heard of Skate Park Of Tampa. Since 1993 Owner Brian Schaefer along with his crew Ryan Clements, Rob Meronik, and Barak Wiser have been redefining what it means to be a skateboard retailer. From putting on the most prestigious, grass roots pro/am contests of the year, The Tampa Am and Pro, the SPoT crew now globe trot annually—producing and announcing some of the best skateboard contests on earth. The Skate Park itself hasn’t really changed though. SPoT still offers one of the best product selections one could hope to find at an independent retail store. The company also boasts one of the best online retail options as well—including a vast selection, entertaining photo and video content, and shipping that’s always free. And they recycle. Just ask their janitor.
