DVS Presents YOUnited Nations At The Berrics
The Berrics receives literally thousands of email questions every week, but by far the most common question asked comes from average, everyday skateboarders—How can I skate The Berrics?
The Berrics’ YOUnited Nations contest is the answer. YOUnited Nations gives unsponsored skate crews the opportunity to come and skate The Berrics by producing their own videos.
The contest, which is open to anyone, consists of crew from all over the world submitting a two to four minute clip of their best skating. A panel of professional judges will then weigh the videos. The top ten will then be broadcast on The Berrics over the course of several weeks. During this time the videos will be subject to viewer web votes as well as a final round of judgment by The Berrics panel.
The winning team will be flown out to The Berrics and will have the opportunity to film their own United Nations to be broadcast for millions of viewers to see.
“The YoUnited Nations contest is rad because you’re giving the crews of kids out there a chance to shine,” says Podium’s Tim Gavin. “Stuff like this is always fun because its for the up-and-coming skaters that are out there hustling.”
So what would you do to skate The Berrics?
